I have always had a profound love for the English language. Writing has been my refuge and my expression. Whether I'm sad, angry, bored, or busy, my pen is my constant companion. It helps me articulate my thoughts and feelings, offering clarity and solace.

"The world is filled with vibrant hues, yet
All I saw was black or white,
I struggled to see as others did,
Till one day, colors burst and beauty grew.
Though shades of grey still cloud my sight,
Friends point out colors, I share their delight.
For in their bright world, I now belong,
Where every shade of every colour,
Sings a lovely song of its own."
"I never believed the thrill lay in the chase,
Until you proved me wrong, turned love to a race.
At first, despite your struggles, you made me feel cherished,
In your arms, my fears and doubts simply perished.
Your affection was a fortress, where I felt so secure,
But as I gave you my all, your love grew unsure.
Excuses of stress, pressures I know nothing about, you said,
But you could make time for others, and I was expected to understand.
When I finally saw where I stood in your life,
I walked away, freeing myself from the strife.
Thanks to the others before you, who taught me to stand,
I left, no longer reaching for your hand.
Though it hurt, I found strength in the end,
For love should uplift, not just pretend"
"T he times I let my guard down,
The cracks widen, threatening to reveal
The darkness and ugliness hidden within.
I have no choice but to withdraw from you,
To painstakingly plaster the cracks and
Cover them with bright and happy colors.
Then I return, presenting the pretty facade, expected of me
Pretending all is well, perfect is this world we've created,
Am I fooling myself or you, this is what I always wonder!
"
"I love you enough to protect you
From the darkness and turmoil within."
"Every time our gazes meet,
I force myself to look away and
Fervently hope you never discover,
Buried secrets reflected there!
"
"On unfamiliar and faraway shores,
Amidst those I'd never before,
I found what I'd been searching for,
Acceptance and a sense of belonging."
"Loving you was not a mistake, but
Loving you more than I loved myself,
This I will always regret!
Losing you was hard, but I survived
Losing myself, in my love for you, isn't
Something I will ever recover from!"
"Pleas, unheard
Tears, unshed
Words, unspoken
Dreams, shattered
And yet she lives,
Head held up high
Smiling, still loving
Her spirit unbroken"
"To forge new bonds, you reached out and
Re-established old, long forgotten ones.
When she left, breaking your heart,
You had to leave, to grieve and heal.
Believe me when I say, I understand,
I'm happy I've served my purpose.
"
"I will forgive you -
For breaking her heart,
Teaching her to cry herself to sleep,
But I will never forget you
For robbing her of her smiles,
Or dulling her spark!"
"Some people, like special moments,
Have to be experienced and understood,
For they cannot be easily described
"
"Is there a person you can think of,
With tears in your eyes,
A radiant smile on your face,
And a heart filled with peace?"
"When he loves, he gives it his all,
Until the novelty begins to pall.
He then walks away, no worries on his mind,
Leaving a trail of broken hearts behind.
He knows no evil will befall him, no harm will come his way,
For those who'll always love him, pray for him each day.
"
"I'm truly blessed,
For I have the ability to forget,
Anything I choose not to remember.
"
"I'm neither shy nor am I quiet,
I'm speaking in a language
You can no longer understand.
"
"It may take time
But I'll make myself whole again
I've done it before
So, I know I can do it again"
"You asked nothing,
I didn't say anything,
Yet we understood everything"
"I will not judge,
Neither will I justify!
"
"I can love anybody,
It comes naturally too
But friendship I cultivate, only with
Those I regard as equals,
For nothing less will do.
"
"I miss you, but not as much
As I miss the person I was,
Before we met.
"
"From irrepressible laughter and constant chatter,
To polite smiles, forced conversation and finally,
Total obedience and complete silence.
You pushed her to the edge, I know
But was it madness or a final act of defiance
That made her jump, we'll never know."
"What words attempt to conceal,
Actions unfailingly reveal."
"She's been quiet for too long that
She no longer remembers,
The sound of her voice."
"You aren't here, they keep telling me
The heart rebels, the mind does agree
I feel your constant presence though
Trust me, that's all I need to know
And in the battle between the two,
The heart eventually wins"
"Not a word did I utter,
No tear escaped my eyes,
For I hoped you'd never find out
How much it hurt to let you go.
I walked beside you until
It was time to bid goodbye,
We hugged for the final time but I held on
A little too long, unveiling every emotion
I'd been desperately trying to hide
"
"My kind of love???
Gentle,
Quiet strength,
A steadying presence,
And a haven of peace."
"Those rare moments I forget about us,
Are a source of hope that, there'll come
A day, when I no longer remember."
"I speak to many
Connect with some
But trust very few"
"Each bead tells a story
of a life we should emulate
Each represents our journey filled with
Hardships, blessings and miracles
Each bead is a reminder
We're never alone, what we seek is within
That our primary goal should be holiness
For we were created to glorify Him alone
"
"You don't lose yourself,
Or find yourself,
If it's love, you'll simply
Stay true to yourself."
"When hearts are broken,
Hopes are crushed,
Dreams shattered and
Lives destroyed, no sound
Is heard for none is made.
The pain is intense
Yet cannot be quantified
Or properly expressed
Yet the world expects you
To describe how it feels.
Morbid curiosity or genuine concern?
I'll never find out, but I know without a doubt
Those who've experienced or lived through this
Ask no questions, but choose to offer support
And strength as you fight your battles alone.
"
"You looked into my eyes,
Hoping desperately to find her.
You heard me speak,
Remembered her words.
You sat by my side,
Lost in her thoughts.
She left,
You drove me away.
We've moved on,
When will you?
"
"The gift of time,
Freely given-
Always undervalued.
The gift of love,
Unconditionally offered-
Never appreciated."
"Heartbroken, yet no regrets
For the journey was worth it-
The lessons, invaluable
The memories, priceless"
"I may never be the reason
for your smiles
I may not be the cause
Of your happiness and joy
But I will never be the reason
You shed tears or experience pain
For I will always strive to be
A source of comfort and hope."
"One chance encounter
He spoke, she listened
He asked, she answered
Conversations, secrets
Dreams and fantasies
Shared and experienced
She gave him joy
He numbed her pain
Everything was forgotten
Barriers and boundaries
Ceased to exist
And just when they thought
Good times would continue
The wind changed direction
Feelings and conversations
Lost spark and spontaneity
Strangers to friends
Then back to strangers
His search continues
Hers ended with him
For he gave her
What no other man could-
"Ghir ghir mophine"
Simple, pure and divine
Born of him
Hers by claim!
"
"I choose to wake up with a smile,
Even when worries crowd my mind
And anxiety weighs down my heart.
Nothing I do, no words I speak, will change
What people think, say or do, but I know
Only I'm in charge of my life, my thoughts.
No matter how hard this world
Tries to push me off my course, I’ll stand firm
Refusing to yield control, for I was born to shine!."
"One who listens without judging,
One who always chooses to be kind,
One who acknowledges the effort, not
The results alone, the one with a ready smile.
These are the qualities I look for
In the one who offers the gift of friendship,
For anyone can play the role of an 'enabler',
But not everyone can be a true friend.
"
"Perhaps some day you'll realize
You've never really known me,
That you only loved the version
Meant for the world to see;
And then I will walk away, knowing we've
Played our roles well, you taught me
I could love again and you learnt
That promises are meant to be broken."
"I have needs both great and small
That cannot be met by one mere mortal
It isn't just unreasonable but quite unfair,
To place such a burden on one poor soul.
Different needs can be met
By different people, I finally learnt,
Some share my crazy laughter,
Others understand my pain.
Some help me realize my heart's desire,
Others became the reason I've known love,
Few are privy to my thoughts, many taught me
To find time for 'great silence'.
Accepting these truths was difficult, I admit
But worth it for it made life easy,
Led to disappointments few,
I became better, less bitter, more forgiving.
Taking the yoke of expectations off myself and others,
Was alone needed to set each of us free, and
When I stopped looking for THE ONE,
I found A FEW who mean the world to me."
"We meet so many people
In this journey of life
Some teach us lessons
Others learn from us
Some inspire us, while we
Become a refuge to many.
But there are very few
Who we treat as equals
The ones whose presence
Lift our spirits, calm our minds
With them you experience
Joy and true peace.
They are your soulmates
Not meant to be your lovers,
Not just friends either,
Not as special as life partners
For their position isn't clear and
Lies somewhere in between.
Not many understand
Very few accept it
Those who do are fortunate
For they will have found
Soul partners, companions
In this life and for all eternity."
"Be like ink,
Leave a mark!"
"Lonely, weary and hopelessly lost
I moved around in circles
Trying in vain to find my way out,
Of the maze I was trapped in.
Darkness crept in, stealthily
Like a thief, a threat to my peace,
And, daylight, like my hope,
Slowly began to fade.
So tired, angry and sick at heart
Years of hard work, all was lost,
Doubts and fears assailed me,
Only a future, so bleak, remained.
I was always faithful to Him,
Lived according to His Word,
The reason for this suffering so great (and)
Unexpected, I was unable to fathom.
I cried until all tears were shed
Begged for a release from the pain
Asked Him to restore all possessions,
All joys, so cruelly snatched away.
But all I heard was this, silence
Was it the calm before a storm?
Confused, dejected, I had no choice
But to wait, mutely watch, heart pounding.
Still waiting, I am, hands folded in supplication
Hoping He will see me through once again
What else have I? But a heart full of hope, that
Trusts in Him who says “this too will pass”.
"
"In the quiet spaces where hearts entwine,
Love whispers softly, a steadfast line.
Not blind, nor foolish, but in wisdom's embrace,
It’s a choice made tenderly, with gentle grace.
It blooms not from fleeting emotions' flight,
But from depths of souls, in the darkest night.
Pure as a river that carves through stone,
Kindness, it bears, in every tone!
Who are we to judge the paths lovers tread,
Or the words they speak and those left unsaid?
For love is a journey, unique and true,
In its essence, a bond, profound and new.
Let us not cast stones or attempt to define,
For love's true nature, may defy the mind.
In understanding's light, we will come to see,
Love's myriad forms, in all their beauty.
